Cancellation Policy

We want happy customers, not hostages. That's why we make it easy to cancel your account directly in Inbounder — no phone calls required, no questions asked.
How to Cancel
Account owners can cancel their subscription at any time from within the app:
- Navigate to Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Your cancellation will take effect immediately. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, but you will not be charged again.
If you need help canceling your account or have trouble with the self-service cancellation, contact us at support@getinbounder.com and we'll help you.
What Happens When You Cancel
Immediately
- Your subscription is marked for cancellation
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
- You retain access to paid features until your billing period ends
At the End of Your Billing Period
- Your account is downgraded to the free tier (if available) or suspended
- You lose access to paid features
- Your data remains intact and accessible if you resubscribe
30 Days After Cancellation
- If you haven't resubscribed, your data begins the deletion process
- Content, client profiles, and research data are permanently deleted from active systems
60 Days After Cancellation
- All data is purged from backups
- Your data is no longer recoverable
Important: Before canceling, we recommend exporting any data you want to keep. You can export articles, outlines, and research data from the relevant sections of the app.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds, recompense, or guarantees under any circumstances.
All fees paid to Inbounder are non-refundable. This includes monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and any additional credit purchases. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period, but no refunds will be issued for any unused time or credits.
We encourage you to use our free tier to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid plan. By subscribing to a paid plan, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to test the Service and accept our no-refund policy.
No exceptions. We do not provide refunds for service dissatisfaction, technical issues, changes in your business needs, or any other reason. Please make sure Inbounder is right for you before upgrading.
Pausing Your Account
Need a break but don't want to lose your data? Contact us at support@getinbounder.com to discuss pausing your account. We may be able to temporarily suspend your subscription while preserving your data for a limited time.
Reactivating Your Account
If you change your mind and want to reactivate your account:
- Before data deletion (within 30 days): Simply resubscribe and your data will still be there
- After data deletion: You can create a new subscription, but you'll need to set up your clients and content from scratch
