Use Restrictions Policy

We recognize that however good the maker's intentions, technology can amplify the ability to cause great harm. That's why we've established this policy. We feel an ethical obligation to counter such harm: both in terms of dealing with instances where Inbounder is used (and abused) to further such harm, and to state unequivocally that the products we make at StartupFormulas LLC are not safe havens for people who wish to commit such harm. If you have an account with any of our products, you can't use them for any of the restricted purposes listed below. If we find out you are, we will take action.

Restricted Purposes

• Violence, or threats thereof: If an activity qualifies as violent crime in the United States or where you live, you may not use Inbounder products to plan, perpetrate, or threaten that activity.
• Child exploitation, sexualization, or abuse: We don't tolerate any activities that create, disseminate, or otherwise cause child abuse. Keep away and stop. Just stop.
• Hate speech: You cannot use our products to advocate for the extermination, domination, or oppression of people.
• Harassment: Intimidating or targeting people or groups through repeated contact, sexual advances, threats of violence, or other means is not permitted.
• Doxing: If you are using Inbounder products to share other peoples' private personal information for the purposes of harassment, we don't want anything to do with you.
• Malware or spyware: Code for malicious purposes, like malware or spyware, is not permitted on our Services.
• Phishing or otherwise attempting fraud: It is not okay to lie about who you are or who you affiliate with to steal from, extort, or otherwise harm others.
• Spamming: No one wants unsolicited commercial emails. We don't tolerate folks using Inbounder to create content for spam campaigns.
• Cybersquatting: We don't like the practice of registering domains for the purpose of selling them back to trademark owners or using them to deceive users.
• Infringing on intellectual property: You can't use Inbounder to create content that steals or copies substantial copyrighted content from others without permission.

AI-Specific Restrictions

Because Inbounder uses AI to generate content, we have additional restrictions specific to AI-generated content:

• Deceptive content: You may not use Inbounder to create content that deliberately misleads readers about its origin, authorship, or factual accuracy. While AI assistance is acceptable, you must review all content for accuracy before publication.
• Impersonation: You may not use our brand voice features to impersonate real individuals or create content that falsely appears to be written by specific people without their consent.
• Automated manipulation: You may not use Inbounder as part of automated systems designed to manipulate search rankings, social media engagement, or public opinion through coordinated inauthentic behavior.
• Misinformation campaigns: You may not use Inbounder to deliberately create and spread false information, especially regarding public health, elections, or other matters of public concern.
• Content farms: While we support scaling content production, using Inbounder to mass-produce low-quality content purely for advertising revenue without providing genuine value to readers is not permitted.

How to Report Abuse

If you suspect abuse of our products, please report it to us at abuse@getinbounder.com. We will investigate and take action as necessary.

Consequences

If we determine that you have violated this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Issue a warning and request that you remedy the violation
• Temporarily suspend your account
• Permanently terminate your account
• Report the activity to law enforcement if required or appropriate

We may also refuse to do business with you in the future. The severity of our response depends on the nature and severity of the violation, whether it is a repeat offense, and whether the violation was intentional.

While our use restrictions are comprehensive, they can't be exhaustive — it's possible an offense could defy categorization, present for the first time, or, after our review, turn out not to be actionable. That said, we approach these cases with a spirit of common sense and good judgment. We try to act in a way that's consistent with our values and fair to all parties involved.
